Mitchell & Hewitt Limited are a leading independent electrical, mechanical contractor and manufacturer of switchgear and control panels. Founded in 1969, the company has been established for 35 years.

From our one acre site in Derby – which includes 7000 sq ft office accommodation and 13000 sq ft warehousing for our manufacturing facility and stores – and a satellite office in London’s Docklands, the company enjoys continued success nationwide.

The move to our head office development has brought together all of our sales, design, estimating and engineering staff under one roof, assisting in the provision of quality co-ordinated building services.
The past few years has seen many changes within the group, including the take over by T Clarke Plc London in 2004. This has provided Mitchell & Hewitt with the backing to take on larger and more prestigious mechanical and electrical building services projects within the construction industry.
Mitchell & Hewit are now approaching their 40th year and still have the non contractual and no problem attitude towards clients, and the flexibility and attitude towards training of staff and adaptability to new methods of design and installation makes us one of the leaders within the industry.
